hy guys! last minute entry for the kickflip contest haha q___q i kinda found out about it on monday evening and had to learn for some exams, i had to take on whednesday and thursday xD i nearly drowned in workload and got academically killed b/c you could kinda guess, i preferred to rather work on this than to learn for university lololol whatever!

i deciced for this contest,that i HAD TO join, b/c of its cause! breast cancer awareness always needs support imho!
also it was a way to support one of my favorite bands, whom i´ve been following for about 6 years now lol! craig mabbit was even still in the band,when i found out about them haha xD good old times!

before starting on this deck, i was working on some speedpainting sh!t, which was this skeleton casket up there, but as soon as i found out about the contest, i was like "BONES CREW, THATS THE STUFF!!" - so i kinda unintentionally laid the first part down of this piece haha xD for the completion of the theme, i put bones crew on repeat and browsed through the lyrics, to get a better idea -> i kinda associated some stuff i talked about with a friend of mine recently and BOOM- there i had a concept! getting the concept finalized took me 2 days though, was i ran into design issues on the girl and the theme again :SS

the girl´s supposed to have the key to the casket´s lock, but i´m not sure, if the key on the swords hilt or the key in her tattoo (LOL THERE REALLY IS A TATTOO XD!!) are recognizeable at all :3

kind of a loose interpretation of the "bones crew"-chorus -=> "Ten thousand miles from here
all the things that could have been, but now
Ten thousand miles from you
all the things i should have said, somehow
it's all that i could do"

tl;dr : didn´t have much time to work on this, screwed up on some levels ; theme came to be by accident/recent personal stuff matching with the lyrics of "bones crew" lol

Haha, Bones Crew basically means "Starbucks Crew" 'cause the entire band's pretty much addicted with Starbucks.
